While we are committed to enhanced standards in an effort to keep you as healthy and safe as possible, there remains an inherent and elevated risk of exposure to COVID-19 in any public place and any place where people are present. By visiting our facility and riding our trains, you voluntarily assume all risks related to exposure to COVID-19.

Due to the ongoing pandemic, we ask that all guests please obey all signage in regards to the flow of foot traffic while on our premises. When checking in, we ask that ONLY ONE person from your party check in all tickets for your party. We also ask that everyone practices physical distancing to the best of their abilities, especially when checking in, boarding/detraining, while seated aboard designated train cars, and while off the train at any scenic stops along the way. We understand that if you are arriving with a large group/family, it may not be possible to distance at all times, and that is okay, but we do ask that everyone please respects the distancing guidelines when it comes to interacting with separate parties unrelated to their own. Face coverings are REQUIRED when checking in inside our locations and while onboard any of our excursions that featured fully enclosed cars. On our open-air trains, we STRONGLY RECOMMEND that all passengers age 2 and older wear face coverings as much as possible throughout the trip, with the exception of periods of any trip when food is served. While we will not be strictly enforcing face coverings, we are simply appealing to all of our guests to show common courtesy to each other, especially those more vulnerable riders, with the knowledge that people will be coming from many different regions/states and from all walks of life to ride our historic trains. We also encourage all passengers to wash/sanitize their hands as much as possible while visiting us, especially after touching commonly used surfaces such as handrails and doorknobs. For our part, we are implementing more rigorous cleaning and sanitation protocols in all public spaces at our various locations and onboard all of our trains, while also limiting the capacity of each train car to 60% to more easily allow for physical distancing. We will also be limiting the amount of people allowed inside our stores and depots at one time, so we ask for your patience as we check in all parties in the safest way possible. Additionally, to further ensure the health and safety of all guests and employees, all of our public-facing employees will be wearing face coverings and our ticket agents and store clerks will be assisting you behind newly installed plexiglass barriers. Lastly, IF YOU FEEL SICK, please consider staying home. We are more than happy to reschedule your ticket(s) or issue you a voucher at any time.
